Job Summary:
This person will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the warehouse/yard and communicate with the buying team to ensure product levels of inventory. Responsible for a team of employees to monitor productivity and train.  This person will be responsible for arranging and delivering material to customer job sites. This will include onsite forklift operating, some dropping of lumber orders, and loading & unloading orders with millwork. You must be courteous and professional in communicating with our customers. There will be some building loads for deliveries and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard; loading and unloading of lumber and/or building supplies, and operating a forklift.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Load, secure, unload trucks in a safe manner.
  • Quickly and accurately check the accuracy after unloading.
  • Photo document delivered a load.
  • Communicate with management on any issues.
  • Operate a forklift or pallet jack safely and efficiently.
  • Process all damage claims according to store policy and maintain related paperwork.
  • Follow up on all damage claims and returns in a timely manner.
  • Manage proper maintenance of all company delivery vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Truck drivers must have valid state-issued Class E driver's licenses and a safe driving record.
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
  • Able to walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Able to wear a back belt at all times and use proper lifting techniques.
  • Able to operate heavy machinery.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate, relate well, and direct the work of others.
  • Ability to solve problems, work independently, and check accuracy.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
